What happens in Moominvalley when the Moomins are elsewhere? Lauri Porra’s new work Seasons in Moominvalley creates a sonic world based on the timeless atmosphere of Tove Jansson’s story books, and Graphic Designer Carlos da Cruz’ animations come to life narrated by Alma Pöysti, awarded for her role in the film Tove. Film composer (e.g. Ad Astra, The Crown) Max Richter’s version of Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons transports the ornate baroque style to the pulse of the present day by embellishing it with just the right measure of virtuosity, ambience, and electronics.
