From Rome with Love

Italian Ottorino Respighi poured his most beautiful melodies and most delicious harmonies into the Roman Trilogy, a musical guide echoing ancient gladiator battles as well as the hustle and bustle of a modern metropolis.

Fountain spouts play in the sunlight. Sky high stone pines cast shadows over the cobblestones of Via Appia. Squares and streets echo the liberated joy of celebrating people. Bathed in the richness of late romanticism, the triptych shines like a lovingly finished Renaissance painting.
