In just ten years, Korean violinist Sueye Park has achieved more than many do in a lifetime – acclaimed recordings, televised performances, and invitations from leading orchestras across the globe. In Oulu, she performs Jean Sibelius’s Violin Concerto, the work with which she secured her much-anticipated victory at the 2025 International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition. Conductor Pietari Inkinen – rapidly ascending the ranks of the world’s most sought-after maestros – returns to Oulu after several years away. With him, he brings one of the most beloved works of all time: Antonín Dvořák’s crowning achievement, his symphony From the New World.
