Oulu Sinfonia Open invites once again the audiences to enjoy music at the Hupisaari Open-Air Theatre. The family concert presents the story of a little rabbit planning to run away (The Runaway Bunny). The evening concert turns its thoughts towards the theme of peace, a subject that has inspired many composers. In the final concert, as darkness falls, Terry Riley’s In C fills the air – a loosely structured unison canon. This cornerstone of minimalism offers scope for strikingly different interpretations; only by joining us will audiences discover the vision to which Chief Conductor Rumon Gamba leads Oulu Sinfonia.
