Piazzolla’s arrangements from the tango’s golden age transform into sophisticated yet passionate concert tangos in the hands of Sandås. The melancholic bandoneon and lyrical violin narrate tales from an almost magical world within Buenos Aires’ forgotten tango neighborhoods – stories of joy, sorrow, love, loss, and solitude.
