Oulu Symphony Orchestra’s quintet presents music from around year 1900. The Danish composer Carl Nielsen with his German colleague Paul Hindemith were strong influences in the foundations of the 20th century wind quintet. French tones to the concert bring impressionist Claude Debussy and Georges Bizet, the latter known especially through his operas.
