Jos rakastat – Unforgettable Kaj Chydenius

Oulu Sinfonia pays tribute to the beloved composer Kaj Chydenius with a concert featuring memorable songs arranged for symphony orchestra. His son, musician Jussi Chydenius, has selected his own favorites from his father’s extensive production spanning seven decades for the program. The concert program is complemented by lesser-heard compositions alongside well-known Finnish classics. Soloist in the concert is Jussi Chydenius, and award-winning actress-singer Oona Airola, who has collaborated extensively with Kaj Chydenius, will also feature. The ensemble contains Finnish top musicians, including Kalle Chydenius, the composer’s older son.
