Many of us have a favorite hymn. Hymns accompany us throughout our lives, in times of joy and in times of sorrow. Evangelical Lutheran Church of Oulu and the Oulu Symphony honor the Finnish hymn tradition and the national hymnbook by bringing people together during the Capital of Culture 2026 year. We warmly invite you and your friends to join us in singing a selection of beloved Finnish hymns, chosen in advance as well as requested by the audience, at the Hupisaari Open-Air Theatre. The event will be hosted by Dean Satu Saarinen and Gerneral Manager Maija Kuusisto.
