Highlights of Mirjam Helin Competition

Oulu Sinfonia’s spring season begins on a high and beautiful note. The stage of Madetoja Hall will welcome some of the most successful participants from one of the worlds’s most prestigious singing competitions, the International Mirjam Helin Singing Competition. Last summer’s winner, Jingjing Xu, will perform alongside third-place finalist Junho Hwang and the press jury’s favourite, Hedvig Haugerud.

The concert will feature some of the most beloved arias and overtures from romantic operas, such as Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto, Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohéme, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro.

Free entry to the concert for Kaikukortti holders (limited amount, must be purchased in advance from Oulu10 service point).
