After postponing this event during the last couple of years because of the pandemic, Oulu Symphony Orchestra’s Chamber Musicians will have their Christmas concert program, entirely supported by local sponsors and by the proceeds of the pop-up Italian restaurant organized by active members of the local Italian community at the historical restaurant Pömilä in Tyrnävä.
The program embraces music from a large time frame, from baroque to contemporary, seamlessly combined with beautiful traditional songs. The concert is a journey evoking the nicest Christmas and Winter atmosphere to be shared in the charming environment of the Mill Library of Tyrnävä on Sunday 18th of December at 6 PM.
Among the composers that we will encounter in this program there are: Marc-Antoine Charpentier, Onutė Narbutaitė, Matthew Locke, Petēris Vasks, Johann Hermann Schein, Michel Corrette.
