Oulu Sinfonia’s Chamber Musicians are so happy to meet again and play together after some well-deserved summer rest. We have organised a very exciting Autumn 2023 season and can’t wait to share wonderful moments with our audience!

We gladly welcome you to our season opening concert in Turkansaari on Sunday August 27th at 3 PM. This is our first collaboration with the Turkansaari Museum, and we thank them for the opportunity.

August 27th will be the last day that the museum will be open this year, and on the occasion of our concert, admission will be free for everyone.

The program, lasting about an hour, takes advantage of Turkansaari’s unique atmosphere, colours and scents, all traces of an enchanting past, to propose music rooted in the popular traditions of many different countries.

During the journey you will also be able to appreciate traditional Finnish music, a first step towards this new season, also our symphonic one, with particular regard to local music history.

Welcome!
