Oulu Music Festival: Yona x Oulu Sinfonia – Uni johon herään

Yona, who has built an extensive and artistically ambitious career, is known for her open-minded and unique way of blending different musical genres in her work. Her songs are characterized by a personal touch, strong emotional intensity, and cinematic dimensions.

Her previous album release, Uni johon herään, created in collaboration with the Tapiola Sinfonietta and praised by critics, was awarded both the Critics’ Choice Emma and the Teosto Prize. The album was also nominated for the prestigious Nordic Council Music Prize and was performed in its entirety in sold-out concerts across Finland. Yona has also charmed audiences as one of the stars of the TV series Vain elämää.

Now the album will be performed in full at the Oulu Music Festival by Yona, her band, and the Oulu Sinfonia.
